Apple announced on Tuesday at its big press event a slew of new products, including its smallest tablet to date: the 7.85-inch iPad mini.

But it wasn't the only product launched. Perhaps the most surprising news from the event was the arrival of the fourth-generation iPad, which comes just six months after the third-generation tablet debuted. As one could imagine, iPad 3 owners were not thrilled to learn their "new" tablet is already old.
